Skateboarder/Musician Dream House

In my final week at Taubman, I was given a choice project to design a house for a skateboarder and musician. Without any prior requirements, I knew that I wanted to make a ramp on the roof for skateboarders to enjoy. The building was constructed in Rhino 3D and was designed in Adobe Illustrator. I decided to use a collage for the best fit of the skateboard aesthetic, and incorporated many different materials I believed were best fit for the building. The graffiti used on the tunnel between the buildings is the album cover for It’s Almost Dry by Pusha T, putting a musical influence on the build, with an additional bonus of being one of my favorite albums. I also decided to add different record labels, such as TDE, Griselda, and Dreamville onto the walls for more musical accents. Inside, the inhabitant has a music studio, a skateboard shop, a home gym, a movie theatre, and a skateboard design studio as well.
